Greetings! Pay heed to the arts and sciences, for they will have much to delight the eye and the senses!All are invited to participate in three different A&S competitions at Hawkwood Howl, to include: a novice competition, open A&S competition, and a scroll blank competition. Artisans may also display items without entering the competition.  For questions about A&S competitions contact Lady Frida (ldyfrida[AT]gmail.com). 
 
Novice:
If you have recently begun a new A&S, then enter the novice competition. This is a competition for individuals who have been practicing their craft for less than a year. This doesn't mean that the entrant needs to be a newcomer as they could be an experienced anachronist exploring a new area! No documentation required.
 
Open:
If you are less martially inclined, there will be an open category A&S competition. Come show off the piece that you were inspired to create. Documentation preferred.
 
Scroll Blank:
If you hand is steady, there will be a scroll blank competition. All scrolls entered are considered donated to the Hawkwood Scriptoria. The Coronet’s favorite will be the winner.
 
Classes:
If you wish to improve your mind and skills, then take one of the classes offered during the day, including Fused Glass Art ($10 fee, limit 5 adults) and Scribal classes. The schedule of classes will be posted at Troll. If you would like to teach a class, please contact Lady Frida (ldyfrida[AT]gmail.com). 
 
Performing Arts:
If you are more theatrically inclined, there will also be performing arts sponsored by Mistress Dervilla. Please contact her for specifics (Dervila[AT]pobox.com).
