Unto Your Majesties Cuan and Pádraigín, Your Excellencies Geldamar and
Etain, the Triton Principal Herald, the Atlantian College of Heralds,
the populace of Atlantia and all who read this missive:

Greetings from Lord Cian mac Cellacháin hUí Dubhlaich, Gordian Knot
Pursuivant herald, and herald of record for the Nottinghill Coill
Baronial Court held at The War of the Wings VI in October, AS 46.

In the evening of October 8, 2011 in the Baronial Encampment at War of
the Wings VI, Their Excellencies Geldamar and Etain, Baron and Baroness
of Nottinghill Coill, did assemble the Baronial populace and called for
Their court to be opened.

Their Excellencies did speak to the populace, welcoming them as well as
the visitors from Hidden Mountain who did attend.

Their Excellencies then had Lord Felipe de Pamplona called forth into
Their Presence. It was explained to the populace that although most
knew of Lord Felipe’s skill with the blade, it was his lesser known
though no less skillful work as an artisan that They wished to reward.
Their Excellencies proceeded to stand up and display the Baronial Chairs
as an example of his work, and thus They were pleased to award Lord
Felipe with the Golden Knot.

The newcomers were invited to come forth and be welcomed, and Their
Excellencies expressed Their desire to see them again at future events,
and encouraged the newcomers to approach anyone if they had any questions.

The Canton of Ritterwald was summoned before Their Excellencies to pay
their annual taxes. Lady Arielle presented the Baron and Baroness with
a bowl containing handmade cheese as well as some chocolate bars, the
latter purchased because the chocolate mines were not yet up to full
capacity. Baron Geldamar was quite pleased at the tax offering.

While the Canton of Ritterwald was still before Them, Baron Lucien de la
Rochelle was called forth to announce which group would become the
holder of the Spirit Spear. Timing it just right, the Canton of
Ritterwald had almost completely removed their flag from the spear when
Baron Lucien told them to leave it on there, as they had won it again.

The children of the Barony were called forth to receive glow sticks and
bubble wands from Their Excellencies. The evening sky was suddenly
filled with bubbles glowing with reflected light.

Lady Dulcinaya, also known as Rani Ducinaya, was summoned before Their
Excellencies to receive the Baron’s Award of Excellence from Baron Geldamar.

The Foresters of Nottinghill Coill were invited into the Baronial Court
to induct 2 new members of their group. Cheers were heard for Congrad
Englehardt and Edric Alriccson. Baron Geldamar addressed M’Lord Edric,
pointing out to the populace that during the archery tournaments, Edric
placed second because in a moment of chivalry, he deferred the
competition to a Lady. His Excellency expressed great pride in Edric,
and felt that he did great honor not only to himself, but to the Barony.

The crew of The Sea Wolf was ordered to come before Their Excellencies.
The Baron and Baroness talked of all of the hard work that The Sea
Wolf has done lately, specifically in organizing the land for WOW as
well as the potluck dinner which followed court. Their Excellencies
were thus pleased to award the Hydra’s Coill to the crew of The Sea Wolf.

And then the moment that all were waiting for. Baron Geldamar called
Lord Nichola and Baron Norton, the competitors in the upcoming Iron Chef
Competition, to come forth to learn the secret ingredient. With much
fanfare and schtick, the secret ingredient was revealed to be...The
Chicken or The Egg! The Iron Chefs were encouraged to use either form,
especially as chicken in a dessert was not exactly a palatable thought,
and Baron Norton was reminded that the secret ingredient is supposed to
be part of the dish, not just residing in the same kitchen. The
populace was encouraged to attend the Yule Toy Tourney event in December
so as to not miss this battle of the culinary giants.

There being no further business, Their Excellencies did close Their
Baronial Court.

This account is accurate to the best of my knowledge and complete to the
extent of the information available to me.

Set down and submitted by my hand,
	I remain,
faithful in service to Crown and Kingdom,
Lord Cian mac Cellacháin hUí Dublaich,
			Gordian Knot Pursuivant herald.
