>Greetings to the Barony!

>This has been a most triumphant weekend for the Barony!

>As many of you have heard, at the Curia which was held at the Crown Tournametn last weekend, Mistress Alesia, the Kingdom Seneschal, announced that the Canton of Green Lion Bay is now an official branch of the Society, and that it will be listed in the Kingdom Regnum next month. We congratulate them on acheiving this success. Thanks also to all those in the Barony who have been providing assistance and support, and we would ask you to continue to offer your support them. The next few years will be an exciting time for us all.

>Green Lion Bay also held an event yesterday - the Lion's Head Tavern. While we missed the early part of the da, we arrived in time to hold a short court, and to enjoy a wonderful feast. We want to thank Lord Philipp, the autocrat, for the wonderful hospitality. By all reports, the event was great fun, with lots of music and dance, as well other activities and competitions. Our thanks go to Mistress Cordelia, and the Cooks' Guild, who fed us so well. They once again fulfilled the mission of feeding us into submission. It was a lovely evening, and we treasured the experience. We also wanted to personally thank Baron Stefan of Cambion once again for his support of Bright Hills through all the years. His enthusiasm for dance has enhanced many of our events!

>The earlier part of the day was spent further south. The Barony of Dun Carraig saw the Investiture of their new Baron and Baroness yesterday. Our congratulations to Baron Ragnar Blackhammer and Baroness Lynette Semere! This event was also the site of the rescheduled competition for the Lochmere Arrow (which was, of course, resceduled due to the snow at TNT). Baroness Jeanne delivered the Arrow and encouraged the archers in their quest for success in winning the arrow for Bright Hills once again. Although we were not able to watch the competition, we are happy to acknowledge that, as previously reported, Lord Seamus and Lord Janyn defended their title and brought the Lochmere Arrow back to Bright Hills for another year! Milord Aiden, the new Bright Hills Archery Champion, also won the Dun Carraig shoot! Well done, Aiden! We are so proud of you and all who represented the Barony!

>We appreciate all those who supported both events yesterday. The musicians from PAGE also had a presence at both events. Thank you for another job well done! Once again we can truly say that it is "Always the Best from Bright Hills"!
