[MR] Looking for historical references on medieval oilcloth

You said you only found one thread on this in the Florilegium. Which  
file was it in? How did you find this? Using the search engine,  
available on the top page of the site, or looking in particular files?

While any references are dependent upon how good the references are  
that are posted, this file seems to have several, although I'm not  
sure I see any specifically on floorcloth. I see more for things like  
"plague cloaks", which makes some sense.

In the TEXTILE-ARTS section of the Florilegium:
oilcloth-msg (16K) 3/ 6/10 Period oiled or waxed, waterproof cloth.
