Unto the Gentles at the SCA Membership Services office:
	My wife recently renewed our memberships, and when we received the 
new Blue Cards I spotted an error in my Society name.
	I wrote to you on June 12th, explaining the error and requesting a 
new card with the correct data.  In that letter, I said that since 
Pennsic falls before the allowable response time from your office, I 
would hang on to the incorrect membership card.
	Today, June 28th, my corrected membership card arrived in the 
mail.  Assuming reaonable time en route both ways, that means that 
you must have read my letter, checked the records, corrected the 
data, and printed out/addressed/mailed the new card in about just 
about one week of working days -- all while dealing with what I'm 
sure is an increasing flood of work as Pennsic XL approaches.  So 
much for the idea that corporate bureaucrats are invariably slow, 
lazy, and inefficient!
	Thank you, my lords and ladies.  Well done!  VIVAT!
