My Dearest Lady,

no no no no..and NO!

I was not taking nothing personally.I was just speaking my heart. after you read a few more of my posts you will see I write from the heart and some people
dont realize it untill they read it again.
I was just giving my O...O...{ 2 cents} worth.

I would never over look any who gives time freely.and anyone who helps others deserve all the love and admiration any of us can give.
I help where I can. but what I was saying sometimes its hard to help if not asked and when you ask spots are filled to limit with help thats offered.
believe me those I see all the time need a break so they dont burn out.

if nothing else,my sword arm fights for all those who serve,those who served before us,and those who are now gone and not forgotten.
if my post was anything other then from my heart,my deepest apologies that was not the intent.

besides im nothing, a flea..a speck, I have not the right to speak offence to those who do serve.
I am just a man who does the best he can,and have not the place to speak against good people as such, nor would I ever.
if I do..Odin strike me dead.because that is never the intent.

I hope you did not take my reply as personal to yourself, it was not meant as such. My post was directed to the populace as a whole. If I have offended you, I apologize.
 
However, I maintain that there are many jobs done in and for this Society that are not done for the "joy of it" (no matter how many may claim it to be so). They are done because they needed doing, and someone did it, not for any recognition. I speak of under-trolls, under-cooks, MOLs who are not in charge, Marshalls, gentles who pick up trash on the ground, gentles who dump trash in the proper dumpster, those who clean and stock the privies, the dishwashers, the pages, the parking attendants, and all those who make the event happen.
 
I still believe that fighters - EVERYONE - should take at LEAST one event and provide service in these capacities. To believe one can walk into all events, pay the fees, play and leave and not give back, is selfish, rude, and against the principles of chivalry and honor under which we play. And one does not need to be following a service path to do what is right.
 
My two farthings. Let the flames commence!
