Though I agree that a ratio of 1 marshall to 10 fighters is not a good thing, I would add that a ratio of 1 MOL to 15 fighters is worse. Since not all of the currently warranted MOLs are working in that capacity, the ratio is even larger.
 
If fighters want to fight, can they not commit to ONE event spent in service, either to marshalling, MOLing, waterbearing, or other support duties??? We are an organization of volunteers, after all, and some service positions are more prone to "burn-out" than others.
 
In the case of MOLs, many current MOLs receive no benefit from the service they provide (not being fighters) and contribute their own time and money (we do NOT receive reimbursement for postage) to the dream for others.
 
Please consider becoming warranted in either discipline. We need your help.
