[MR] an easier answer - stop wearing coronets

I love it!!!

Either we need to all 'hat up', or as you suggested just drop it.
This would cause issues for two groups that I can immediately think of,
but we could deal with that. One would be the currently sitting
Royals....or, rather, folks like me who don't immediately recognise all
of them, and thus would fail to make proper obeisance when they appear.
And those for whom those coronets define them within the SCA.

Or we could ALL wear the headgear to which we are entitled, circlets of
two flavors, coronets of what, now, four? five?, and the Royal
Crowns..... the benefit of that would be that we could instantly pick
out the new folks and those who should have had circlets with AOAs years
ago!

But I really like your 'drop it awhile' approach....and the courage you
have to suggest it!

If you don’t know my rank by now we probably haven’t talked for more than a year yet (as I have never thought of rank as a key focus for anybody) or you’re too new to be worrying about all that anyway. In either case the idea might make some people unhappy but I think overall it would make life simpler for all of us!
