That's not only intensely practical, but wonderfully appropriate, since, as I recently learned, 
the very term "etiquette" originated with little signs that Louis XIV caused to be posted 
around the grounds at Versailles admonishing visitors not to wade in the fountains or pick flowers 
from the flower beds.
