Greetings unto the Tavern, Just a quick reminder/update about Midwinter’s Tale, January 21-23. We still have bunkhouse space and feast space available. Don’t forget, Duke Valharic is cooking! We’re having a hafla Saturday night after feast. Master Achbar will be drumming. Let us not forget, our AMAZING prizes: a set of throwing knives for thrown weapons, arrow shafts for target archery, Duchess Isabel is making a silk banner for rapier, and I (Baroness Astrid) am making an embroidered Roman style Coptic tunic for heavy weapons. You will leave the event with your prize! (barring shipping snafus for some prizes.) There has been some confusion on the fees, so let me clarify. If you are eating feast and staying onsite, your total is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. If you are daytripping and eating feast, your total is $13 for members and $18 for non members. Daytripping is $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers. It is not necessary to pay the daytrip plus the overnight charge. It is either/or.
