Sing a song of six pence
 A pocket full of rye
 Four and twenty black birds
 Were baked in a pie.

The straight thrust and the disengage with the foil,
and the simple cutting attack with the sabre, if
done properly with distance, cannot be parried.

    Hello Stefan,

The Charter on all of our Royal Notables can be seen here:
      http://law.atlantia.sca.org/Law.html#F

The Royal Notable is responsible for holding the competition to
replace them one year later. In the case of the Royal Baker, they're
required to provide two pieces, I believe one bread and one dessert
      item.

      I hope this helps,
      Genevieve d'Aquitaine
(KMOAS in 1998 when the Notables were combined into one charter,
placed under the A&S office, and made flexible to add and remove as
      suited the Kingdom.)

and because there might be other people for whom this is new, what is this?
How is this Royal Baker picked? Is it who can bake the best period bread? Or
puddings? or pizza? Or Royalty :-), Or just what? Is this a bake-off using a
period heat-mass oven or over a campfire, or what?
