[MR] Fwd: Spring University- Class Proposals Due Jan 24th

According to the search I ran on the OP, the last time University was held
in SC was in Summer 2002. There were a LOT of NC Universities though.
Still, the point remains - it's hard to find a site to hold a University. I
think it behooves all Atlantians who want to see University held near them
do what they can to find a site locally and put in a bid.
We are, after all, an organization of volunteers. It's frequently difficult
to get any bids for some of these events, much less get them submitted in a
specific part of the Kingdom.
I guess my point in my original reply to you was that I live in MD and can't
seem to get to a University either. But I also haven't made the effort to
get a site early enough to put a bid in, so if it's not close to me, that's
my fault, not the fault of whomever made the decision to accept the bid, nor
the fault of the people who submitted the bid successfully.
