Greetings to all ~

It is with great joy that we announce DANCING at Ymir on Friday night (@ 
7pm) and Saturday afternoon (if spaces permits).  Lord Giovann and his Lady wife 

will be onsite both days to add music to our revel.  Other musicians are welcome 
to join!
 
The dance list follows, yet we are not limited to it.  I welcome help for there 
are many dances I have yet to learn or teach. I will call the dances at first 
and trail off as the dance progresses, but my voice is limited.  Please bear 
with me.
 
Friday night at 7pm (scroll down for Saturday option)
 
    Set 1
        Petit Riense (3 dancers per group - 2 male/1 female or 2 female/1 male, 
preferred)
        Maltese Branle (circle of dancers)
        Sellenger's Round (circle of couples)
        Branle de l'Officiale "Toss the Duchess" (circle of couples)
 
  -- 15 minute break -- 
 
    Set 2
        Horse Branle (couples in a line)
        Jenny Pluck Pears (circles of 3 or more couples)
        Black Nag (couples in a line)
        Hole in the Wall (couples in a line - Please hold sharking until 4th 
repeat to give everyone time to get in step)
 
  -- 15 minute break -- 
 
    Set 3 (time, space and dancers willing)
        Branle des Lauandieres "Washerwoman's Branle" (circle of couples)
        Black Almain (couples in a line)
        Heart's Ease (2 couples per group) - I'll need help with this one, 
please!
        Maltese (again, for those who missed it)
        Petit Riense (again, teen favourite)
       
  -- 15 minute break -- 
 
    Set 4 (any other dances that are up for trial! - if the music and 
musician prevail)        

 
Saturday option
 
If we have the space and opportunity, we can practice dances on Saturday 
afternoon.  Upon approval of space from the Autocrat, we will have it heralded 
or just find me.
      
We are looking forward to it!  We would be delighted to have all who are 
intrested join us.
