[MR] Morning court at KASF

Howdy!

His Majesty Brian held a court in the morning at Kingdom Arts and
Sciences Festival.

After greeting the populace, Baroness Margery Winterbourne was
called forward. His Majesty offered her an opportunity to sit a vigil
to contemplate elevation to the Order of the Laurel later in the day.
This met with general approval.

Master Dunstan le Herringmonger and Baron James of Middle Aston
were called forth to regale the audience with their promotion of the
Gyrth Oldcastle Memorial Smackdown. This was particularly aimed
at those who had not witnessed it at Twelfth Night, particularly those
who placed light credence in the reports. They were not disappointed.

James was invited before His Majesty. His Majesty appreciated James'
passion for his duties and was loathe to force him to betray them, but he
did inform him firmly that he *would* be placed on vigil at a later time to
consider elevation to the Order of the Pelican. James was then dismissed
to properly attire himself for the day's activities.

There being no further business, court was adjourned and Baroness
Margery was led off to her vigil.
