Greetings unto all of the Kingdom of Atlantia,
I
am Archer McRobert, kitemaker from the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann,
seeking contact with one of your kingdom, Sophia
la Orange. (Forgive me, her rank and title is unknown to me, or I would gladly use it.)
Her
name was provided to me indirectly from people connected to the
A&S50 Challenge. 
My goal in contacting her (or all interested in period kites) is to start a
dialogue with other kitemakers and also boosting the exposure of both
period Western and Eastern kites to the SCA.
I've been involved with
period kites (researching, making, and teaching) since the mid-1990s, first in the Kingdom of Calontir and now Gleann Abhann.
