I do in all cases agree with the requirements for Courtesy. But what, may I ask, is the proper behavior for a merchant when Royalty, or former Royalty, enters the booth?  In many cases a merchant artisan is working upon something and rising is...complicated. In others, the merchant may be unfamiliar with the particular Royal insignia.
 
I think especially of many of the situations at the Pennsic Wars. Such as Midnight Madness where Royalty may be in and out of the merchant enrions.
 
Guidance would be appreciated.
