[MR] Cesspits and New Newsgroups...(Sigh)

Unhappy greetings unto all...
 
I now have another newsgroup to join and another group of emails to slog through, just to keep informed of our kingdom's activities.  Wonderful, more demands on my already precious time for a hobby.  This was not an improvement to our noble and wonderful kingdom, it was kowtowing to a whiny few who were not mature enough to ignore minor foolishness.  This change goes way beyond minor foolishness, it needlessly addds to the labors those who serve our Society, does not create any real or positive benefit, and will only encourage further divisiveness.
 
Since the Merry Rose (sadly) has turned into nothing more than a place to complain, I'm starting...
 
I truly hope I will be proven wrong, but if the discussions about this change are any indicator, I won't be.  Dang.
