Do you mean the announcements list?

I thought they said the announcements would be double posted.  If you
remain on the Merry Rose, you shouldn't need to subscribe to the
Announcements list.

Can someone more official verify that is correct?

I believe the idea was:

Annoucements -> Announcement Subscribers

OR

Announcements -> Merry Rose -> Merry Rose Subscribers

The people who don't want to deal with all of the commentary on the
Merry Rose can just go watch the announcements and leave folks here to
discuss things.
