[MR] Announcements List is open for business

Good Morning, Atlantia!

The announcements list is now open for business.  If you wish to subscribe,
you may either send an email to announce-subscribe at atlantia.sca.org (subject
and content don't matter; just emailing that address will do it for you) or
visit
http://seahorse.atlantia.sca.org/listinfo.cgi/announce-atlantia.sca.org and
enter your email address.  Either method will work just fine.

Posts to the list will only be permitted if they are actually
announcements.  Posts which do not come from Royals or Officers of State
will require that a moderator approve them so that the signal to noise ratio
will be kept quite good.

At present, the list will not be directly mirrored to the Merry Rose.
People wishing to post to both places must explicitly list both in their
emails.

I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the new
list.
