<<< Go buy a large paint bucket with a lid and a largs package of
kitty litter. In pinch it will work for a few days.

Back in 2003 when Isabel blew though northern Virginia we didn't get
much damage apart from some water in the basement.? But our water and
electricity was knocked out for several days.? Losing the electricity
wasn't so bad, but no water!? Try going without a flush toliet for
several days.? That is medieval!? Get you some rubber stoppers for
your tubs and fill the tubs with water.? That way you'll be able to
fill your toliet tanks.? The s--- fill flush.? You'll be glad. >>>
Frankly, in many ways folks are better set up than most non-SCA folks.
Many of you have been camping and often go some time without
electricity or running water.
While some of these take more time to prepare ahead of time, here are
some solutions that folks have been recommending for toilet facilities
in private camps, even when there are public facilities such as at
Pennsic. It seems that many of these could be adopted for disaster uses.
