Oh? It's been several years since I could go to Pennsic, so I've not
seen or heard of these before. More details, please? Were these just
drawn on the ground or were these actually walls to travel between?
I'm sorry that none were large (wide?) enough that could negotiate
them in your chair.

<<< Oh, those hang-gliders....First one, then another, then yet another!
They followed several small planes who overflew us a few days earlier,
one of them so low we could almost see the color of the pilot's eyes!
 >>>

Hmmm. Ballistas...

<<< I made a few 'leeches' for the Chirurgeonate. Mind, now,
I was worrying about this task, as it was assigned the night before we
needed them. I brought the stuff back to camp to begin work, and before
long I was surrounded by campmates/new friends clamoring to help! We
made a dozen Scribe's leeches and one huge glow-in-the-dark one for the
EMS team, with beaded eyes and all. >>>

You *made* leeches??? From what I've heard you can easily just go
down to Cooper's Lake and fish them out of there...
:-) Or maybe that's just the lake at Gulf Wars.
