Greetings Atlantia!

I would like to ask for your assistance in helping scribes complete the
wonderful works of art that are created each month. We need to review
the backlog of scrolls and check to make sure that the information is
correct. I would like everyone to take a look at their own award
information. I would also like to ask for the assistance of peers,
baronage, group seneschals and group heralds to assist us in completing
this incredible task by reviewing information about people within your
group.

First, go to the website http://scribe.atlantia.sca.org/backlog/

Look up your own information, your close friends, other members of your
group and let us know the following information:

Is the person still active? If they are not, we can temporarily remove
them from the backlog. If they get active again we can add them back. We
are asking about inactive people because we would like to avoid a scribe
creating a scroll only to realize that the recipient hasn't played in 10
years and is impossible to find. That wastes the scribes
efforts.

Review the scrolls for each person you know. If you have seen their AoA
scroll hanging on their wall, let us know that the scroll they have. If
you have a scroll in your possession that is still listed as "needed" or
"unknown" please let us know.

I know that some people do not want scrolls. If you do not need or want
a scroll for a particular award or if you plan to commission someone to
do the scroll and do not want it assigned by the Kingdom, please let us
know that as well.

Also, If you have been told that your scroll is being worked on but it
is not listed as “assigned”, please let us know so that we can check the
status of the scroll.

Please respond to the Atlantianscribe at gmail.com e-mail address because I
will have more than one person working on this project and answering the
e-mail that comes through that address. Once we have cleaned up the
backlog listings we are going to make a very strong push to clear as
many scrolls off the backlog as possible this year.

I would like to ask Atlantia to take a few moments at upcoming events to
stop and look at the backlog scroll displays and competitions. The
scribes work very hard to create beautiful works of art to commemorate
your awards. And, one of those scrolls could be one you have been
waiting for!

Thank you all so much for your help with this. I hope to be flooded with
e-mails that will help update our backlog!

Please crosspost this e-mail.
