My appologies for jumping in the middle of this conversation and
sidetracking it slightly. My point was that simply cancelling an
activity at an event can promote bad feelings towards a group or event
even if it was unintentional, especially if the public was not made
aware of it. I was not blaming the Autocrat of the event.  I know how
hard it is to plan everything at an event, and sometimes those things
cannot be foreseen.
