[MR] Sacred Stone's dark dealings

Unto our cousin, His Excellency of Sacred Stone, Baron Axel, do we
Flaithri and Rhonwen, Baron and Baroness of Stierbach, send tumultuous
tidings.

 

This talk of foreign sounding things called genetics and DNA testing
sounds more along the lines of Dark Magic and alchemy to our ears.  We
have long heard rumors of Dark Magic when the name Sacred Stone was
mentioned.  While we have tried hard not to listen to the gossip from
the traveling merchants who passed through our lands, you have all but
confirmed this dark evil magic before all of Atlantia and you use it to
sully the good name of the Barony of Stierbach.

 

Those so called bulls you claimed are too small to make a meal from are
none other than the dribbles from the first raiding party you sent up to
the lands of Stierbach this past winter.  When they could not find our
herds, your men fearing to come home empty handed, bought goats from a
traveling band of gypsies.  Not only did they pay twice their worth, but
these goats had been rolling around in the fine red soil of Stierbach,
thus coloring the goats hide from white to red.  We know not what manner
of men you sent to steal our prize livestock, but they had to have been
quite simpleminded to be taken in by the gypsies.

 

The fact remains that your second raiding party did steal this year's
crop of fine calves.  In addition our archers have been burning through
their arrows because of this pesky flying two headed chicken that is
circling our finest bull.  It is a foul deed to be done by one of our
Cousins, and this cannot go unchallenged.  Return our cattle by the end
of the month and make reparations for our archers singed equipment or we
will seek justice.
