[MR] Memorial Viking Boat Burning at WoW

As he has done in the past, Lord Christoph of Grey, with the assistance of his lady wife Eleanor, has created a Viking Ship to burn on Saturday night after court. This is a memorial for those who have gone ahead of us, whose memories we hold dear. It will be processed from court to the Lake where, a few words will be shared and the ship will be set alight on the water. His note is copied below.

This year WoW will once again have the Viking Memorial Boat burning to honor and remember those that have passed.  As we did last year, there will be 16 shields to honor those that passed.  A donation to the Susan B Koman fund of $10 is requested for each shield in rememberance of those passed to assist those still with us.  If a donation can not be made small pieces of paper will be provided on which the individual's name and a short note of rememberance can be written and the note placed in the boat for burning.  If something other than a paper note is desired please limit the size of the item to no larger than 2 X 2 inches (notes are prefered to prevent the boat from capsizing or sinking).  Paper notes are prefered.  The boat will be on display at troll and public areas around WoW.  If you desire a shield please get a copy of the shield or where it can be located on-line to the following email addy no later than September 24, cogworks AT triad.rr.com.  You may mak e your donation at the event.
