This year the Golden Rose Tourney celebrated four virtues that the Roses of
Atlantia hold dear.
Honor, Grace, Courtesy and Inspiration.
Yesterday, more than 100 combatants took the field, and we were impressed by
the courtesy and honor displayed by all!
The four pennant winners this year were:
Honor Arik Hawkins
Grace Lord Wolfgang of Clan Roanwoulfe
Courtesy Lord Eckehard Thurn
Inspiration Sir Harald Brandarm Olafsson
Her Excellency Countess Kalisa¹s team took the prize for overall points and
received the gift of beautifully wrought knives made by Master Eldrid and
Mistress Clare. Countess Kalisa received a lovely pitcher made by
Viscountess Marion Leoncina da Susa.
The Lady Rosanella Vespucci of Duchess Padraigin¹s team was recognized as a
Herald extraordinaire.
The beautiful silk pennants awarded to the virtue recipients were created by
Lord Segehart Leutmericz and Mistress Theodora Delamore and painted by them,
with the assistance of Countess Aryanna, Countess Kalisa, Duchess Kyneburh,
Duchess Simone and Sir Aelfred.
Vivat to all!
