My dear Lady Gisela and Lady Gynedd, and all in the Tavern who wrote to educate me:
 
Thank you so much for writing me back as my post was really a plea for understanding. In my ignorance I did not realize the Royals had more than one Herald! I am sorry to have spoken so abruptly now that I know there are more of you, splitting duties, and sending in separate reports. Please take as much time as you need to post to the Merry Rose. I have heard things through the Archery Grapevine that deserve the wider audience that a Merry Rose posting can command. Thank you so much for your work as a Herald for all of us.
 
I hesitate to add on another note that sadly, the second half of my post is absolutely true. There are many more knights than Grand Bowmen Elite in this Kingdom of ours - - but you'd never know it would you? One of the archers that a Herald could not recall the name of was a new member of our loftiest rank. But I now understand -- thanks to the responses to my post -- that Heralds are only responsible for reporting kingdom awards that have to do with precedance, and earned badges do not count. That is also a revelation to me, and will be to other archers, I am certain.
 
So please forgive my ignorance on numerous counts, and thank you again for taking the time to illuminate these matters.
