[MR] Promissories

Forgive me if I sound a little controversial in asking...but what is
the point in contributing a significant amount of painting work &
materials into a promissory? Yes the recipient might appreaciate it
but I think the effort would be more appreciated in a OOAK award
scroll instead and then there is no backlogging. There maybe was a
time when promissories were normal but why can't we progessively move
towards using only scroll blanks (which are OOAK)? I don't know how
many scroll blanks are being produced for Kingdom level and I sure
whould love to help the efforts; I have ideas but don't want to step
on toes or reinvent the wheel. Let me know how I can help and I would
love to hear more discussion on this topic.
