As a herald, my favorites have had the entire text of the scroll, in plain
text, on a separate piece of paper [with name(s) of the scribe(s)] attached
to the back of the scroll, so that I could read off the content and give
proper credit while holding up the scroll for the assembled populace to OOOH
and AAHH at.
