[MR] [AtlantianHeralds] A question of Protocol regarding toasts

Cian -

Thank you for replying to Dagobert. I approach the entire matter with the
attitude Count Vlad displayed right after he won Crown Tourney.

Count Vlad attends our baronial fighter practice, as do we. When we came
in, he announced with a great flourish "Yea, yea yea - you outrank me here
but just wait until you step one foot outside!" It was done with good humor
and fun, playing the game but not bludgeoning it.

We have approached our tenure as territorial B&B with the intent that all
should enjoy what they love to do, are recognized for their efforts, and
that we do all we can to not disturb others' image of the Dream. That
includes showing proper deference and honor where due. It also includes
ignoring honest mistakes in protocol that may occur as we all are human and
doing the best we can.

I admit that the beginning of this thread was very instructive and will help
many in the future figure out what needs to be arranged in advance ad
relieve some of the frantic running around at the last second.
