 Hey! Whoa! Estienne, my friend, that was a heck of a leap you just took. I think we all need to stop, step back and take a breath.

Regardless of your opinions on this matter, Meadbh did not represent her opinion as anything other than her own. She's entitled to her opinion and as entitled to speak her mind here as anyone. 

She did not say she represents the War of the Wings and she does not. She is not on the staff nor is she speaking for the staff.

War of the Wings is a fun event as attested by the growth in attendance and the comments to myself as event steward the last two years and Barono Rozsa as the event steward the first two. The staff has tried each year to find ways to make it more fun for more people. 

We've also worked to keep it both affordable for as many people as possible and as financially safe for the barony. Priorities that Lady Murienne is continuing to champion.

That's the only opinion the event staff has ... that War of the Wings should be as affordable and financially responsible and fun FUN FUN for everyone who walks through the gate as we can manage.

With a response like that, I'm sure that I can find better things to

do with my time as well. Granted, I'm not important, and whether I

show up or not will affect attendance by exactly 1 person - but I find

to hard to support an event represented by such an offensive attitude.
