[MR] Fwd: Can pickle juice protect against muscle cramps? sca-east Digest, Vol 89, Issue 42

How funny, I am drinking a diet tonic water RIGHT NOW. With quinine. I have the worst leg, foot, and ribcage (yes. I know.) cramps in the world, so I am all about the quinine. Can't say for sure it works, but I will say I have had fewer problems since developing my great love for bitter fizzy.

Do this: Get a little tonic water (I use diet) with quinine and flavor it with a dash of unsweetened lime Koolaid and a little unsweetened black cherry Koolaid. If you are not ready for that much bitter and tart, throw a little sweetener in there (I used Truvia before I got hard core with it).

Go easy, a little Koolaid in a single serving glass goes a long way. I have all these little opened envelopes of Koolaid in a box in my kitchen.

This is a totally refreshing, tart, wonderful thirst quencher.

Dunno about vodka, but the husband drinks it with gin.

Dulcy
