[MR] Seeking TI 1984

I have some old TIs, and I tried flipping through them, but nearly all the dates on them are written in Roman numerals (which I can't read beyond ten) and anyways, I don't think they correspond with real world dates anyways (which further confounds my attempt to figure out which books might have the tatting article in them). What would the dates look like?

 

Sorry, I know it sounds like a pretty dumb question.
