The reason I had suggested Yahoo was because most of the baronial groups already have e-lists there, and it would be easier to publish properly local information. I think it needs to be in a public place, not someone's private website (otherwise I'd do it myself on my own site), so that it's very easily accessible to anyone that it pertains to. It would need to be editable by anyone that adds their own information to it, not just by one or two people. Any personal info is therefore put up by and at the the persons' own hand/risk/permission.
It would be nice if it could go onto the kingdom website, but again I do not know whether the SCA would have anything to say about OT info being shared on an official SCA website. Someone who knows could look into that, though...

It's a great idea. I've thought about doing it before but just never got 
around to it. But given that there may be demand for such a service, 
perhaps the time is right to get it going.

Obviously, as a private venture, anyone who wants can do something like 
this. To avoid duplication of effort, however, I would like to know if 
anyone else is planning to work on this, and perhaps get in contact. 
Maybe we can coordinate our efforts.
