Well Duchess Seonaid beat me to it, but I would also like to say how wonderful the Golden Rose Tourney was this past weekend. It was a great honor to be part of such a wonderful new tradition in Atlantia. On behalf of His Majesty and myself, I would like to thank all who worked to put the tournament together, fought in the tournament, and attended to provide support. 
 
I would also like to thank those who represented me on the field, Duke Michael of Bedford, Lord Christofre de Clyn, Lord William of Bedford, Lady Ilaria de Gandia, Johann von Zurich and Mistress Rhiannon ui Neill. I could not have been represented by a finer group and I am so thankful that you would do me this honor. I was also granted the opportunity to be the Rose representing the Heavenly Rose Team. I am very grateful to Duke Olaf and Earl Robert for their guidance since I never had the pleasure of meeting Duchess Aislinn and Countess Muirgen. I would like to thank Earl Robert, Baron Johann Von Rothenburg, Baron Achbar Ibn Ali, Master Alen Gravesend, and Lord Edward deWitt for representing these Roses on the field. You all did a marvelous job and I know that you did all of the Roses proud!
 
For those of you that missed this year's tournament, plan now to attend next years! I am sure that Baroness Graciela and the Order of the Roses will find a way to top this year's fabulous event.
