On that same subject, don't forget our favor competition...the proceeds will
be donated in full to the Calvert County Relay for Life of the American
Cancer Society. Entries can be in any medium and documentation is
optional. We hope to have many entries! The winner will be chosen by the
populace...deposit a dollar ($1) in the box in front of the favor you think
should win. The winning entry will be announced in Court and will receive a
copy of *Codex Manesse*<http://bibliodyssey.blogspot.com/2008/08/codex-manesse.html>,
a German book of chivalric poetry with accompanying illustrations that are
rated among the best of the period. Please bring your entries to the A&S
display area starting at 10:00 Saturday morning. Voting will begin as soon
as we start putting out entries. Voting will end 1/2 hour before Court and
entrants will be asked to pick up their favors at that time.

This is such a wonderful opportunity to support an organization that uses
about 80% of what it raises for community programs, education, research and
support for cancer patients, their caregivers and families. Vote for your
favorite...and vote often!
