[MR] Non Peers DO have a voice in this matter

To those who do not feel they have a voice in this matter,
I am writing to let you and any other NON Peers know that if they wish to have their voices heard in the matter at hand that they DO have that opportunity. When the BoD asked for the Pan Peer Petition to go out to the Peers of Atlantia, Their Highnesses felt that the populace of the Kingdom should have a voice as well. They created a Non Peer petition which I shall try and attached to this email (I have a feeling that the attachment may be stripped off of the email) so that EVERYONE could have their voices heard. There is No Guarantee that the Bod will accept these petitions but HRH's Logan and Esa felt it important that all should have a voice. If anyone, Peer or Non Peer, has questions about the specific details of the matter being discussed, they are asked to contact Their Highnesses directly as they feel this information is not to be broadcast widely or posted in a public forum for the sake of all involved.
Please send a copy of the completed Petition to Their Highnesses before the deadline of March 9th. If you feel for some reason that you cannot send them to Their HIghness and want to send it directly to the BoD or your Omsbudsman, please do so but send a copy of the petition to Their Highnesses so that it can be included in the packet of petitions sent to the Bod per their request.
If the attachment does not come through this email system as I fear it might not, please email myself or Their Highnesses and one of us will forward the petition to you directly.
I apologize for adding yet another email to the many on this topic but i dislike greatly that anyone felt that they did not have a voice and wanted to make certain that all knew that they did have the right to be heard on this matter.
In Service to the Crowns and Atlantia,
Sir Sinclair Hawkins

Subject: Re: [MR] I'll Probably Regret This Later
Regretfully, they are not my questions alone, and my asking you,
although it may have assuaged my concerns (although, to be honest, I
am less than convinced), it would not have assuaged the questions or
concerns of the multiple people who have approached me in my role as
Baronial Seneschal (the person who is *supposed* to know about
Sanctions and appeals and all that) and asked what is going on when an
event in my Barony has this going on.
Nor would it have assuaged the concerns of the multiple people who
have writen me privately off-list (including at least one Peer) with
variations on the theme "Thank you for saying what we feel we cannot".
I must be honest, I intend to write the BoD Ombudsman for the Kingdom
and express my extreme dismay about how this is being handled. I have
no knowledge of whether the accused is guilty of the crimes he is
accused of or not, but the process as it is being done does not strike
me, a disinterested bystander, as being done fairly, openly, and in
line with the stated Greivance Procedure. Will it matter? Possibly
not, as I am not a Peer, so my opinions are apparently irrelevant to
the discussion. However, I am a paid member, and as an member of the
office responsible for enforcement of Policies, Procedures, and
Sanctions, it is my Duty, as unpopular as it may be.
