Shire of Border Vale Keep

The crops have been brought in from the fields and stored for the long winter ahead. The night air is chill with the scent of winter not far away when the fields will lay fallow under a blanket of snow. Come spend the weekend with the Shire of Border Vale Keep as we prepare for the coming winter months with one more warm gathering of friends for a hearty meal and a song or two!
Cost:
Adult, Member: $5.00 Day-Trip / $8.00 Feast / $3.00 Camping (dorm beds)

Adult, Non-member: $8.00 Day-Trip / $8.00 Feast / $3.00 Camping (dorm beds)

Youth (10–17): $3.00 Day-Trip / $8.00 Feast / $3.00 Camping (dorm beds)

Child (0–9): $0.00 Day-Trip / $5.00 Feast / $3.00 Camping

Cost Notes: Babes in arms are guests of the Shire. $3 fee is for dorm beds. Tent camping is free.

Activities include Heavy, Rapier and Archery. Watch for the Great Pumpkin Shoot.
A&S will center around any and all aspects of the harvest and the hunt.  Details later.
Bardic will be after feast.
Merchants are welcome.
Site: 4-H Camp, 4-Camp Rd., Augusta, GA 30906.
Site opens at 5pm on Friday and closes at 12 noon on Sunday

Site Restrictions: No pets. No fires other than in the main fire pit. No alcohol. Smoking in designated areas only.

Feastcrat: Baroness Ginevra de'Rossi will be preparing a harvest feast for a maximum of 96 gentles.  Feast reservations will be taken no later than Sept. 18, so final preparations can be made. Any questions?  Then e-mail calypso1997 at comcast.net.  And indeed, there will be cake.

Take your best route to I-20 to Augusta Ga. Exit onto I-520-Bobby Jones east to exit 10. Turn right at the top of the ramp onto Doug Bernard Hwy. 4-H Camp Rd. is about 5 miles down on the right, just past the airport. Watch for trains while crossing the tracks. The camp is 1/4 mile on the left. Signs will be posted.
