Good gentles, may I kindly remind all that the Siege of Glengary Sept.
25-27 is hosting several bardic activities. In addition to Friday and
Saturday bardic circles, there will be a war poetry competition, a
truth-and-beauty theme song competition, and a story competition. The
poetry competition has a deadline of Sept. 1 for submission of entries
to Siege of Glengary Poetry, 11 Lotus St., Martinsburg WV 25404 so get

Oh, yes, there has been added one more added bardic challenge:

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Lords and ladies and lovers of the Muse,
hie thee unto the listfield of Sylvan Glen on September 26th and thereby
bear witness for blood will flow, not by sword or bow or rapier but,
forsooth, by the lacerating tongues of savage bards! Behold, a bardic
smackdown! Swannoc Beag of Highland Foorde doth entreat fellow Atlantian
bards to join her in calling out the bards of AEthelmarc to musical
combat, a fiery exchange of war songs to inspire the heavy fighters as
they take the field afterwards. Toll the tocsin, the bards are at war!
Play not the dullard: bringeth forth thy liveliest songs and represent
thy kingdom, fool!
