Forgive me for asking this (it is out of general curiousity and not
malice)...is there some reason that Atlantia cannot pay a portion of
the site fee for a Kingdom level event? (I'm looking for an answers
from our upper level Exchequers here...smile). For many groups, we're
finding that even when we find a site that's large enough to meet the
needs of a Kingdom level event, it is priced beyond our ability to
bear the cost alone, so the group doesn't put in a bid. It's not that
the group doesn't WANT to host a Kingdom level event or that the group
hasn't LOOKED hard enough for affordable sites. Having assistance
covering a portion of the cost for a site (often the most expensive
part of the event) would allow more groups to get back in the game and
you'd probably see a lot more bids coming in.
