greetings to the list,

in all this talk of helping out for the hurricane, i put out a cry of help for two friends who have lost everything in it.  if the good people of atlantia would be willing to donate clothing and personal items (such as shampoo, toothpaste, etc) to my friends, i would appreciate it.  they are on SSI, and cannot afford to buy anything to replace things due to having used this month's check to pay their bills.

if you are willing to help out, please contact me off list, and we can try and arrange things.

Passion, it lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden it will stir.  Open it's jaws and howl.  It speaks to us, guides us.  Passion rules us all. And we obey. What other choice do we have?  Passion is the source of our finest moments. the joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief.  It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank.  Without passion, we'd truly be dead.
