Hark to the sounds of the war drums, gather close friends and allies and
ready arms for the coming war. Steltonwald is pleased to welcome all to
AEthelmearc XIX War Practice. Join us starting Thursday May 15, 2008 at
Noon, through Sunday, May 18 leaving site by 3pm. We will be at Coopers
Lake Campground, 205 Currie Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. The marshal
activities for the weekend will include Fighting, Fencing, Combat Archery,
Archery, and Thrown Weapons. The kingdom Archery and Thrown Weapons
Championships will be held on Saturday. Other activities will include
classes, bardic activities, hound coursing and shopping. Any and all field
activities should be coordinated with Sir Graedwyn Mab Teyrnon (aandjnascone

Merchant must have proof of insurance and pre-register with the autocrat.
Animals are not permitted on site, dogs for the hound coursing must contact
the Hound Mistress (katla (at)
zoominternet.net) and stay in the coursing area, Service animals please
register with our disabilities coordinator Mistress Aoibheil of Dun Holen
(aoibheil (at) zoominternet.net). Saturday and Sunday Brunch will be open to
all and provided by the talented and wonderful members of the BMDL.

Cost for the event is Adult, 3 night $22.00, 2 night $18.00, 1 night $12.00,
Day $9.00.
Children, 6 - 17 3 night $ 9.00, 2 night $7.00, 1 night $5.00 Day fee $
4.00. Children under 5 free. There will be a $3.00 non member surcharge.

Directions: From Pennsylvania I-79 take exit 99, Turn left onto US Route
422 west
Travel three tenths of a mile on US Route 422 west, Turn right onto Currie
Road Follow Currie Road for one mile, turn right into the campground. Troll
will be on the left.
