Richard's supposed homosexuality has long been known
to be a myth created by pseudo-scholars at the
beginning of the last century. John Gillingham is one
of the premerie Angevin scholars, and I highly
recommend any of his works. (The out of print Richard
the Lionheart is excellent, as is The Angevin Empire,
and 1215.)
