He was noted to have at least one well documented
bastard, comtemporary critics accused him of being a
'despoiler of virgins', and he did penance in Sicily,
after indulging with the local courtesans while on
Crusade.
Balance that against the otherwise excellent "Lion in
Winter" broadway play (later movie) and modern
political activist BS, and the just plain bad
'history' you can get from television programming on
places like the "History" Channel.
Yeah. So. Anyway....
