I didn't see much of that event, I was in the kitchen. I was talking about another event entirely. Where there was garb offered, but it was refused; and seeing those two just standing around did bother me.. it was like I was on display and that this was some sort of side-show and not a relaxing event where I commune with others who share my joy. But I am not one who will let something that bothers me fester.. I will approach and discuss and possibly find out the reason as to why something bothering me.

Personally one thing does bother me excessively (aside from the fact that I am allergic to it), that is smoking in common areas at events. I do not deny the smoker the need to smoke, but there are smoking areas. In period, I believe it is late period that they were starting to smoke, but used a pipe for this very costly habit; cigarettes are way OUT In My Opinion. Wasn't it some decree in Atlantia about smoking?

  Marie,

You recently prepared a wonderful feast for an event
in December where litterally half the people in
attendance we not in garb due to a wedding. No one
said anything, not a word.

Did it take away from the feel? You bet.

Did anyone feel put out or upset over it? No way.

Point? There are acceptions to everything.
