Just a reminder that the Royal Brewer competition will be happening at KASF.

Judging will start taking place at 1pm with the help of the following
judges: Lord Gunther on Lindenwald, Magnus McKinley, and Master
Ruaidhri an Cu

I wish to encourage anyone to please enter the competition, there are 3
people I know of entering, and the more the merrier! It only takes a
minimum of 3 entries to compete and win!

The original details were:
> The next Royal Brewer will be decided, as is traditional, at the next Kingdom A&S competition.
>
> Judging will begin at 1pm, and go 'until done'. Competitors are allowed, and encouraged, to hang around for the judging so that they can get direct feedback on their own entries (as well as hear the feedback on their competition as well).
>
> The rules for this year are the same as years past ... with a few clarifications:
>
> * There are 5 drink categories that entries may be entered into: Beer/Ale, Mead, Wine, Cordials, NonAlcoholic
>
> * A competitor can enter a maximum of 2 entries per category (for a total of 10 entries)
>
> * To be eligible to be Royal Brewer, you must enter at least 3 separate categories, to show that you have a broad knowledge of the art.
>
> * Documentation is required, and drinks will be judged on their period quality as well. (Standard Atlantian Brewer's Guild judging forms will be used). If the competitors wish, they may also send an email copy of their documentation to the current Royal Brewer, to allow it to be read ahead of time.
>
> * CLARIFICATION: To determine the winners, each competitors top score in each category, for the top three categories that they entered, will be totalled, giving a total score to be compared against the other competitors. Therefore one only needs to enter 3 beverages to win the competition ... entering additional beverages can only help you, by giving you a better chance of getting a higher score on one of them than the original 3. If you need more details on this, please email the current royal brewer ... Siegfried Sebastian Faust, at siegfried at crossbows.biz
>
> * NOTE: As always, the top scorers will be presented to their Majesties, who will have final say as to whom they accept as their Royal Brewer.

Siegfried
