[MR] OT: Wood care question

My grandfather, who was an amateur  furniture maker, used tung oil a
lot. It brings out the natural grain of the wood and helps protect it.
You would need several coats as the oil absorbs into the wood. Just
apply it with an old t-shirt or other soft cloth.
