[MR] pennsic water filters

The "filter cows" began to put in an appearance at Pennsic 18. At 17,
something (most likely a waterborne GI virus) got into the system. The
result was the worst outbreak of Pennsic Plague since 13.  There
hasn't been anything like that again, in the past 20 years.
