[MR] pennsic water filters

The water at Pennsic is usually safe, and it is always orange because
there is a lot of iron in the ground in that area. Pennsic water is
more pleasant than the water in central NY which has iron deposits that
make it orange and sulfur deposits that make it smelly.

The extra load from the Pennsic population on the plumbing system means
that there is less time for the chemicals in the pipes (be they lead,
copper, plastic, or copper with lead solder) to leach into the water.

There have been some years when the Pennsic water wasn't safe to drink.
There was one in the early-mid 90's and I'm pretty sure I remember it
being caused by low water levels in the well from the area having a
particularly dry summer. It was very widely announced that the water
wasn't drinkable that year.
