If you shoot out of your seat like a bull coming out of the gate, don't expect that a bullrider (escort) is gonna run down the aisle to catch up.

  As an amusing aside, I have actually witnessed an escort running pell-mell to escort his lady into Court.  He almost killed himself hurtling over a child's wagon, but he made it in time to escort her before the thrones.  Funniest Court moment ever.
   
  It's true, that a lady should pause for a moment to allow some gallant lad a chance to escort her before the thrones.  However, I've been witness to many a time when the male populace seemed to not be paying any attention, so perhaps a reminder to them that it would be a great courtesy to help a lady into Court.  Chivalry and all that:).
